IGA drives Trust My Garage to the consumer

Published 24/01/2013 00:00:00 in Press Releases

The RMI’s Independent Garage Association (IGA) is to provide all its members with free Trust My Garage (TMG) scheme internal and external signage to display in their garages.

The Trust My Garage scheme offers consumers who use independent garages financial reassurance in the event of a dispute or if the garage goes out of business. This reassurance is backed by the IGA. Each new member is put through a stringent site audit which it must pass in order to be able to display the Trust My Garage badge.

Stuart James IGA Director commented “It has taken some time to build the network of TMG but there are now over 1800 independent garages enrolled on the scheme. Having achieved this we are thrilled to move to the next step.

“By providing our members with consumer facing promotional tools we are now beginning to expand our consumer based marketing.”

The free signage will be handed out to members at the forthcoming TMG events that will be held throughout the spring.

James continued “The free promotional material to members fits within part of our wider marketing strategy that will make Trust My Garage a household name with consumers.”
