IGA Launches Technical Forum

Published 06/03/2013 00:00:00 in Press Releases

The Independent Garage Association (IGA) has today launched an online technical forum which will permit online peer-to-peer knowledge sharing of automotive technical problems.

The forum will be a valuable online resource open to all IGA and National Association of Bodyshops (NAB) members. It can be found at www.rmitechnicalforum.co.uk and will provide a platform to ask questions and receive answers from colleagues around the country who may have faced similar issues.

Beta testing for the site was completed last week feedback which has helped to finalise the forum layout and “tweak” settings to make sure members have the best user experience.

Stuart James, IGA Director commented “The IGA’s new solution will open up a brand new channel of technical information easily and quickly accessible to all members.

“The forum will make use of the most powerful information technologies at our disposal to share knowledge and expertise and to provide cutting edge solutions to problems that might otherwise stump members.

“The forum will evolve to respond to the specific needs of independent garages faster than any other form of technical information. Its real strength though will lie in the collected knowledge, experience and wisdom of our members working together to share that knowledge so we call all benefit.”
