MP visits NFDA member dealership

The Rt Hon Nicky Morgan MP visited National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) member, Inchcape Mercedes-Benz dealership in Loughborough today, (Friday 21 July 2017).

Nicky Morgan, who is Member of Parliament for Loughborough, and recently appointed Chair of the Parliamentary Treasury Committee, was on a site visit to discuss the general workings of the dealership and the sites local significance.

In addition Sue Robinson, NFDA Director, highlighted to Nicky Morgan a number of industry issues, including Brexit and the impact it could have on automotive retail, and debit card fees – the new fees that have been adopted following the Interchange Fee Regulation.

Sue Robinson, commented, “The visit provided an opportunity for Nicky Morgan to find out more about the dealership, and how the retail automotive industry provides high standards of operation in order to contribute to a thriving economy.”
