The National Association of Bodyshops (NAB) has been invited to attend a Competition Commission hearing on Wednesday 17 July 2013, as part of its Private Motor Insurance Market Investigation.

Topics under discussion will be those set out in the Competition Commission issues statement and subsequent update. Transcripts of the hearing will be made available and a summary will be published by the Competition Commission in due course.

Frank Harvey, Head of NAB, commented, “We believe NAB has been asked to provide evidence due to the depth and quality of our submission earlier this year and also because of the expertise and knowledge within our association.

“As the leading organisation representing UK bodyshops, we are delighted to be further assisting with this essential investigation.”
