NAB welcomes back high profile members

The National Association of Bodyshops (NAB) has welcomed back a number of high-profile body repair specialists into its membership.

Fix Auto Dagenham, Fix Auto Croydon, Fleetline Coachworks, Fix Auto Stoke-on-Trent and Fix Auto North Staffs both part of the M&M Group have recently returned to membership citing the NAB’s recent efforts to ensure bodyshops are fully represented as their reason for re-joining the RMI.

Frank Harvey, Head of NAB commented “To have bodyshop businesses of this calibre re-affirming their support for NAB is a real boost and a clear signal to the industry that we mean business.

“The NAB has played a pivotal role in briefing the Office of Fair Trading and Competition Commission on motor insurance. We have also been heavily involved in trying to reclaim monies owed to its members following the collapse of Drive Assist. There is no doubt that these projects, along with others, have helped boost our membership and industry wide profile.

“NAB will ensure that our member’s views are communicated and that they are represented at all levels across Government, Europe and other trade bodies.”

The positive move by these leading bodyshops has no doubt been shaped by the actions of RMI Board Member Tony Lowe, who was instrumental in the re-launch of the RMI’s Bodyshop Division as NAB.

Tony Lowe commented “I am delighted to welcome back our former colleagues.

"With the constitutional changes at the RMI, NAB now has complete autonomy and responsibility for its own destiny. NAB will concentrate fully on bodyshop strategy and policy.  If you’re a bodyshop owner and you’re serious about the future, NAB is the association for you.”
