Former cabinet minister Michael Portillo has been confirmed as the guest speaker for this year’s Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) Annual Dinner, taking place on Thursday 22 October at the Landmark Hotel, London.

Portillo who successfully made his move from politics to TV and journalism, is best known for his five series run of ‘Great British Railway Journey’, and also appears on the BBC’s weekly political discussion programme ‘This Week’ with fellow presenters Andrew Neil and Diane Abbott MP.

Commenting on the upcoming dinner, RMI Director Sue Robinson said, “Guests can look forward to an evening of fine dining and fantastic entertainment, plus guest speakers, and the opportunity to network with fellow industry colleagues. We look forward to seeing you all there.”
