NMDA at Motorcycle Trade Expo Knowledge Shop 2019

NMDA 10/01/2019

The National Motorcycle Dealers Association (NMDA) will be on hand to offer support and advice at the upcoming Motorcycle Trade Expo knowledge shop which kicks off on Sunday 20 – 22 January 2019 at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.

The NMDA represents the interests of motorcycle dealers in the UK and holds regular discussions with the relevant government departments and motorcycle manufacturers to raise industry concerns, and keep abreast of the latest changes to support its dealer members.

The team will be there alongside representatives from the DVLA, DVSA, finance and website providers, accountancy and business strategy specialists, all of whom will be providing free and impartial advice on a range of motorcycle dealer-specific topics.

Stephen Latham says, “There is still an underlying uncertainty in the economy over Brexit and it is essential dealers are well prepared for upcoming changes to legislation. We want to assure dealers that they have the right support and guidance to help them through 2019.

“Results of the latest NMDA Dealer Attitude Survey and our recently developed industry trailblazer apprenticeship standard are just some of the issues you can discuss with the NMDA at the knowledge shop.  We will be there exploring a range of critical issues with attendees and would love to hear how your business is doing.

“Dealers attending the expo will also have the opportunity to find out more about NMDA membership and how joining us can benefit your business. The NMDA is committed to representing the interests of motorcycle dealers to manufacturers, Government, stakeholders and consumers, and as part of your NMDA membership, we offer a range of comprehensive benefits and services designed to help you and your business succeed. These include legal services and HR support, conciliation and arbitration and a range of commercial services.

“Our newly appointed Chairman Paul Barkshire is also keen to assist dealers and give a valuable insight into the current state of the motorcycle industry and hopes to be able to give regular advice which will be featured in British Dealer News.

“Come and have a coffee and a chat with us at the knowledge shop and discuss industry issues, outline concerns and get business advice. We look forward to seeing you there!”
