Lobbying & Policy

The RMI is committed to supporting its members in every way possible.

The RMI's policy team is dedicated to ensuring that the commercial and operational needs of RMI members are heard on all political platforms. This is achieved through constant dialogue with Westminster and European and providing briefings and answers to key officials on issues affecting the automotive sector.

The RMI acts as an intermediary between its members and government departments to ensure members’ interests and concerns are represented at the highest level. Lobbying takes place in both Westminster, Stormont and Brussels.

It is through these activities that the RMI manages to successfully shape policy affecting the automotive industry both domestically and internationally.

On these pages, you can find a range of consultation responses, political analysis and updates.

If would like further information on how the RMI policy team can work with you please get in touch. Call our Policy Officer Oliver Nurser on 0207 307 3407 or 07766 022583.
