Ricky Wilson Appointed NAMA Assistant Chair

NAMA 22/06/2026

National Association of Motor Auctions has appointed Ricky Wilson, Director and Auctioneer at Wilsons Auctions, as its new Assistant Chair. A longstanding member of the NAMA Board, Ricky brings extensive industry experience and will support the association as it continues to promote high standards and best practice across the motor auction sector.

Commenting on his appointment, Ricky Wilson said:

‘I have been lucky enough to be involved with the NAMA board for a number of years now and I am honoured to take on this position. My first ever NAMA meeting was in England when I was 18 years old, alongside my father Ian Wilson, who is still on the Executive Committee today. That continuity means everything to me. With this position, I look forward to working with the wider NAMA membership to continue raising standards across the motor industry.’

Paul Hill, Spokesperson at NAMA, said:

‘Ricky brings a wealth of operational knowledge and a genuine passion for best practice in motor auctions. His appointment is a real asset to NAMA and we look forward to him building this momentum.’

The appointment comes as NAMA continues to build on the success of its award-winning vehicle condition grading scheme and its work to enhance transparency and confidence in the used vehicle market.
