NFDA Hosts Commercial Vehicle Industry Meeting at RTX 2026

NFDA 01/07/2026

Representatives from across the commercial vehicle sector met this week at Road Transport Expo (RTX) 2026 for an industry meeting hosted by National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA).

Held at NAEC Stoneleigh, the meeting brought together senior figures from across the industry to discuss key issues affecting manufacturers, operators and franchised dealers. Discussions focused on current market conditions, the uptake of electric vans and trucks, infrastructure challenges, technician recruitment and NFDA's ongoing engagement with Government on LCV ZEV targets.

RTX has become a key event for the road transport sector, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to exchange views and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the commercial vehicle market.

The meeting forms part of NFDA's ongoing work to represent commercial vehicle dealers and encourage collaboration across the sector.

Sue Robinson, Chief Executive of NFDA, said:

‘Road Transport Expo provides an excellent opportunity to bring together representatives from across the commercial vehicle sector. The discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration as the industry navigates changes in tech, regulation and workforce challenges.’

The next NFDA Commercial Vehicle Dealer meeting is provisionally scheduled for October 2026.
