NMDA at Motorcycle Live

NMDA 29/11/2022

The NMDA’s collaboration with MCIA and Bike Jobs on the Motorcycle Industry Careers Hub stand at Motorcycle Live was a great success and had attracted over 60 registrations of interest in careers after just 4 days in. The Hub gave people the opportunity to look at Job Vacancies through the Bike Jobs website and talk to the team about how to get a start in the Motorcycle Industry. We are hoping to be able to present our candidates to the Major Motorcycle Manufacturers in order to help them understand the necessity in supporting training and apprenticeships, within the dealer network, thus creating jobs for the future.

We also received a lot of interest at the other end of the career ladder, from an older demographic, with people willing to retrain and support the industry that they have been so passionate about through the years. This really showed that there are a wide range of opportunities in the sector from Motorcycle delivery drivers to Site Cleaners.

Motorcycle Live showcased a huge variety of products from leading manufacturers and gave the public the chance to touch, feel and even ride some great new PTW’s. The main stage played host to a who’s who of the Motorcycle world, offering top riding legends and Motorcycle journalists’ insights into the future of the industry. It’s a not to be missed show which should be on everyone’s calendar!
